Hightech Multimedia Tutorials Releases new "Light Edition" and upgrade of Foundation Fieldbus Concepts Tutorial

Comprehensive self-paced learning modules now available on CD-ROM

PORT ANGELES, Washington, April 30, 2002 - Hightech Multimedia Tutorials (HMT) today announced the release of a new Light Edition (LE) of its popular Foundation Fieldbus Concepts tutorial on CD-ROM.

The LE version includes all of the Fieldbus H1 introductory material as well as the comparison to 4-20 ma and DCS technologies. It includes complete coverage of the Physical layer (installation) and the User layer (configuration) as well as the entire section on Interoperability. It also includes the section comparing H1 with Profibus PA and the entire section on fieldbus H1 benefits. HMT designer and creator Dan Dumdie says the LE version will sell for $199. Dumdie says the complete tutorial contains more than one hundred multimedia clips teaching basic and advanced concepts for Fieldbus H1. It includes more than 3½ hours of well laid out training material and sells for $399.

Dumdie says HMT will also offer an upgrade from LE to the professional version. It will only be available to originally registered users who have purchased Foundation Fieldbus Concepts LE. The upgrade ships on new CD-ROM media for $229.
